Excellent value in this robust, juicy, tasty and savoury Italian red wine. Lovely oak-bandaid that I get in Bordeaux sometimes and adore. This wine uses the Ripasso method of grapes to add depth and flavour. Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore food pairings: pizza topped with steak strips and garlic, spicy sausage , prime rib roast, hearty winter stew. Score - 91.
