Elderton Cabernet Sauvignon

All estate grown off 45-70 year vines, the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Elderton Estate is matured for about 18 months in French (20%) and American (80%) oak puncheons, 20% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it has intense cassis and warm blackberry aromas with some cinnamon, cumin, cardamom and lead pencil nuances. Medium to full-bodied with a medium to firm level of fine tannins and crisp acid, there's a hint of toasty oak in the long finish.
