Chapel Hill Shiraz 2012

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2012 McLaren Vale Shiraz has a lovely nose of warm blueberries, blackberry preserves and licorice with hints of lavender and black pepper. Full-bodied and concentrated without being heavy on the palate, the abundant fruit is well framed by medium level, rounded tannins and racy acid. It finishes long. Drink it now to 2020+. Score - 91.
