(Barrel tasting) A pretty, cool and very restrained nose of ripe red currant, dark cherry and soft earth and spice notes serve as an elegant introduction to the supple yet powerful medium weight flavors that possess good size and weight. There is a relatively refined mouth feel as the tannins are fine-grained, all wrapped in a concentrated, balanced and impressively persistent finish. Drink: 2021+. Score - 91-93.
