Cordero di Montezemolo Monfalletto Barolo 2009

The dark and sumptuous 2009 Barolo Monfalletto has its cards stacked neatly. The wine delivers a beautiful bouquet laced with dried fruit, licorice, white truffle and all sorts of delicious Nebbiolo intricacies. It shows a solid grip on the palate, with a compact and streamlined feel. The class and finesse already present bodes well for the future. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2030. Score - 93.
