(aged in 80% French and 20% American oak): Deep ruby. Deeply pitched dark berry and spicecake aromas are complemented by a smoky nuance and a touch of vanilla. Sweet and expansive, offering fleshy blackberry and cherry-vanilla flavors and a touch of cracked pepper. Closes sweet and long, with soft tannins and lingering spiciness. Score - 90.
