Clos du Val Zinfandel 2012

This California Zin has more complexity and structure than most along with good balance of ripe fruit, racy tang and soft tannin. Dark berry fruit, roasted herbs, mixed spice and toasty bits on the nose foreshadow a generous palate-bathing wave of bramble berry pie and red currant jelly infused with baking spice.
