Domaine Weinbach Furstentum Vendanges Tardives Gewurztraminer 2008

Vivacious, with a backbone of racy acidity bolstering the finely layered flavors of apricot, mango, tangerine, candied pink grapefruit peel and smoky mineral, with notes of spun honey, lychee and ground spices. Shows great finesse and fine attention to detail, but very appealing for its fruit-forward, tangy character. Lovely to drink now, but should age beautifully. Drink now through 2033. Score - 94.
