The Amarone, from the 2010 vintage, shows crisp, fragrant aromas, dominated by crunchy, intact wild berries, swathed in mineral notes and medicinal herbs. The full-bodied but never overpowering palate is held in check by lively tannins and the characteristic acidity of the traditional varieties.
