The Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva once again took the tasting panel by surprise. The 2012 vintage is a graceful, subtle wine, though faithful to its Mediterranean roots. On the nose, it releases aromas of cherry, wild strawberry and sweet spices, while on the palate the tannins are ripe and silky, signing off with a savoury finish and a fresh, balsam texture.
