Pale yellow. Perfumed, rich aromas of ripe apricot, fresh herbs and vanilla on the enticing nose. Then bright and juicy, with lively acids lifting the fresh white stone fruit and sweet spice flavors. Finishes clean, with a hint of white pepper. Just a little short for an outstanding score, but this very interesting wine is a rare Italian example where viognier shows well. Score - 89.
