Strewn Terroir American Oak Chardonnay 2012

A gold-medal winner at Sélections Mondiales des Vins, this has a glorious nose of sweet spice, vanilla and notions of caramel. It washes over the palate with toasted, desiccated coconut, mixed spice and notions of lime yoghurt interwoven with apple and pear. Medium weight with good mouth feel and a lengthy, crisp finish and aftertaste, another six months in bottle should completely integrate the oak. Score - 4 Stars (out of 5 (Excellent)).
