M.Chapoutier Tournon Mathilda 2013

Deliciously aromatic and flavoursome. Textural too. Value screams out at you. Yellow stonefruit, fennel, various herbs and spices. Starts well and maintains the quality all the way through to a satisfying finish. Some alcohol warmth but, as they say in the classics, I think it gets away with it. Drink: 2014-2016. Score - 91.
