Bodegas Merum Osmin 2008

The 2008 Osmin employs the same grape varieties as the Ardiles with the addition of Merlot, but sourced solely from 80- to 110-year-old vines. It has a very well-defined, clean, crisp bouquet that momentarily transports you to the place it was born. You could smell those wild Priorat herbs in the wine! The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins. This is a harmonious Priorat with superb minerality and complexity towards the understated, cerebral finish, with subtle notes of rosemary and thyme lingering. A well-crafted Priorat red.
