The 2012 Novas Syrah/Mourvedre is a great Rhone blend from Cachapoal, displaying a very subtle and balanced nose, with both varieties showing very compact together, a restrained palate and very good acidity. There is a sense of personality, freshness and balance here that I have not seen in the rest of the Novas series. Great value. Drink now-2016. Score - 90.
