Yalumba The Guardian Shiraz/Viognier 2010

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 The Guardian Eden Valley Shiraz Viognier flaunts a nose of ripe red cherries, red currants and kirsch with hints of sage, black pepper and menthol. Medium-bodied with a beautiful, silky texture in the mouth, plenty of spicy, red berry preserves flavors hold on through a long finish. Drink it now to 2017+. Score - 90.
