Made from 100% Sarba, a cross between Romania's T?mâioas? Româneasc? and Riesling that was created in the 1970s, this has intensely aromatic notes of peach, orange and spice with a mineral frame. The complexity of the nose is taken up nicely by the palate. Dry, lovely, crisp and mineral-edged, with good length and an impressive finish. (VINTAGES panel, June 2014)
