Eco Pecorino d'Abruzzo Superiore 2013

You may know Pecorino as a hard Italian sheep's-milk cheese, but it is also a grape, one that is a speciality of the Marche and Abruzzo regions and is noted for producing firm, dry wines with excellent minerality. The Eco 2013 is quite aromatic, offering lovely green apple, yellow plum, peaches and pear. Soft and flavourful with a crisp, long finish. (VINTAGES panel, May 2014)
