Dubreuil-Fontaine Beaune Montrevenots 1er Cru 2011

A pretty, fresh and agreeably complex nose features a mix of various dark berry scents that display top notes of spice and floral hints. There is good volume to the moderately austere and serious middle weight flavors that possess a cool and firm mouth feel before terminating in a compact, rustic and lingering finish. This is distinctly old school and while it won't wow you with charm, there is plenty of character though note that patience will be required. Drink: 2019+. Score - 90.
