A 65/35% blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon, hand-picked, whole bunch-pressed and wild-fermented in French oak (20% new); partial mlf, and nine months on lees. The wine has repaid the extra time and expense involved, still with delicious tropical fruit on the mid-palate, surrounded by nutty/creamy nuances; overall balance and mouthfeel is equally good.
