Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2012 Alpha Crucis Titan Shiraz is scented of crushed blackberries, fresh black plums and mulberries with hints of cedar, cracked pepper and dried mint. Medium to full-bodied with tons of muscular flesh and a solid backbone of firm, grainy tannins, it finishes long with the oak poking through slightly. Still very youthful, drink it 2015 to 2025+.
