Flagstone Dragon Tree Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz/Pinotage 2012

The 2012 Dragon Tree, a blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Shiraz and the remainder Pinotage, has a pleasant ripe strawberry, fig and mulberry-scented nose that feels just a little smudged at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with a peppery entry. There is good structure here with some lovely marmalade and white pepper-tinged red fruit on the harmonious finish.
