Gorgeous aromatics open the scene on this appassimento-style blend of 33% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. One quarter of the grapes were dried before pressing, lending rich, velvety texture and tons of fruit. This is huge yet graceful, 'like a moose moving through a forest' as one panelist described it.
