De Angelis Rosso Piceno Superiore 2009

Aromas of cherry and leather, with violets, black soil, oregano and plum. Very nice. Delicate and tasty, with excellent fruit flavours and structure, and a solid finish. A versatile wine it will work well with a variety of dishes including a traditional porchetta (sucking pig stuffed with fennel and garlic) or roasted chicken. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2012)
