Solar de Sael Crianza Mencía 2007

Vinedos y Bodega Arturo Garcia's 2007 Solar de Sael is 100% Mencia sourced from 80+ year old estate vineyards farmed with biodynamic principles. Opaque purple-colored, it displays an exotic perfume of menthol, balsamic, Asian spices, mineral, and black raspberry. Medium-bodied, rich, and full-flavored, it has a bit of underlying structure that should permit another 1-2 years of evolution. This impressive effort is also an outstanding value. Score - 90+.
