Cape Point Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2013

The 2013 Sauvignon Blanc is blended with 5% Semillon cropped at six tons per hectare and sees nine months on the lees in tank and in barrel. It has a pretty bouquet leaning more toward the tropical rather than herbaceous spectrum. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, impressive weight in the mouth with lovely greengage, nettle and gooseberry notes flourishing toward the finish. This is another excellent Sauvignon Blanc from winemaker Duncan Savage. Drink: 2014-2019. Score - 90. (Neal Martin, erobertparker.com, Oct. 2014)
