Tapestry BG & V Shiraz 2012

After not tasting so many Australian shirazes for a while, it was very pleasant to try this one. It's one of the new generation that balances concentrated and nicely fruit with clean, fresh acidity. In this case, the acidity shows as juiciness, a great texture with the ripe, deep fruit. The tannins are sweet, supple, and easy-going, and this is drinking well now.
