Peique Tinto Mencía 2012

(no oak): Bright purple. High-pitched red fruit aromas are complicated by fresh flowers and Asian spices. On the palate, tangy redcurrant and raspberry flavors turn sweeter with air and pick up a subtle note of anise. Closes with very good energy and focus, leaving a smoky mineral note behind.
