Château de Fargues 2009

What a brilliant de Fargues this is! The nose is tightly wound and demands coaxing from the glass, reluctantly offering glimpses of candied orange peel, clear honey, quince and minerals. The palate is well-balanced with a citrus fresh, viscous opening infused with candied orange peel, honey and quince. It segues into a lovely, ripe, tense, focused middle and finish that leaves the mouth tingling with glee and eager for another sip. In a word - delicious! Drink now-2045. Score - 96.
