Cliff Lede Poetry Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

(blended with 8% merlot and 2% each cabernet franc and malbec): Good saturated red-ruby. High-pitched aromas of cassis, licorice and menthol. Plush and rich, with complex flavors of black raspberry, black cherry, tobacco, cocoa powder and a hint of menthol. Just a hint of herbs on the back end, but here the ripe tannins arrive late, allowing this very attractive wine to express itself. Score - 90+.
