Zenato Valpolicella Superiore 2012

Here's a big, robust take on Valpolicella. The rich, plummy nose offers layers of dark cherry, fig and cocoa powder. The palate is gushing with ripe fruit, with accents of cocoa spice and leather adding intrigue. Tangy acidity gives lift on the finish. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2015)
