Marqués de Cáceres Gran Reserva 2005

Smooth, ripe aromas of blackberry and raspberry come with plenty of vanilla, licorice and tobacco. The palate is a bit rubbery, but will calm with more bottle age. Black cherry, stewed plum and carob are the lead flavors, while the finish is earthy and chunky, leaning towards modern. Drink through 2022. Score - 92.
