La Crau de Ma Mère Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2011

Also structured, yet with none of the astringency found in the Domaine du Pere Pape, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape La Crau de Ma Mere (60% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah) offers up notions of ground pepper, soy, black cherry, licorice and loamy soil to go with a medium-bodied, rich and nicely textured palate.
