Pierre Sparr Lieu Dit Altenbourg Riesling 2010

A lovely dry Riesling with complex notions of citrus, green apple, plum, quince, mineral oil and clover honey. There's a lovely wet-stone mineral component that further enhances the lip-smacking quality of the wine. This will last for a decade or more, though it's drinking beautifully right now with turkey breast, herbed pork, or lake fish with lemon. (VINTAGES panel, March 2013)
