Beringer Chardonnay 2012

Lovely length to the nose, showcasing apple and spiced pear. I really enjoy the weight here; while the wine tends to push down on the tongue the acids are firm enough to keep it on track and moving along. The finish is pleasant with ripe orchard notes and faint hints of bread dough. Beringer shows here why it has a firm name in the Chardonnay business. Score - 90.
