Lastly and a huge success in the vintage, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Cotes Capelan is 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre that spent 18 months in 40% oak barrels. Medium to full-bodied, with superb concentration and richness, it offers up notions of sweet raspberry ganache, spice-box, licorice and hints of graphite on both the nose and palate.
