Paolo Conterno Bricco Barbera d'Alba 2013

Here's a bright, charming lively barbera with very pretty floral, sour red plum and cherry fruit aromas. A hint of barbera meatiness as well. It's light to mid-weight, with brisk, elevating acidity and very fine tannin. No great depth or gravitas but it is a delicious example, with very good length. Score - 89.
