La Crema Chardonnay 2013

Classic Californian Chardonnay with toast, oak and green apple aromas. Full-bodied, and generously layered. It's always handy to have some half bottles (375 ml) on hand for when you want to start with a glass of wine each, and then move on to another wine for the main course. Pair with roast chicken or turkey. Finishes with freshly baked bread and spice notes. Also perfect for crab or lobster in a cream sauce. Pair with: pasta, hodge podge, lobster with mayonnaise, roasted chicken, pork with a creamy lemon sauce. Drink: 2013-2018. Score - 91. (Natalie MacLean, nataliemaclean.com, Nov. 2014)
