Cantine Due Palme Primitivo 2012

Dark chocolate and mocha aromas on the nose with fleshy ripe blackberry notes. Lovely toasty oak on the finish. Medium- to full-bodied. Supple and smooth but packed with flavour, just as a Primitivo (aka Zinfandel) grape-based wine should be. Try this with a variety of pizzas, from meat lovers' to four cheeses. Score - 89.
