The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes comes from 85 to 90-year-old vines and is a blend of 95% Grenache and 5% Mourvedre. One of the most successful efforts from the 2011 vintage, it is full-bodied and rich revealing classic notes of balsam wood, garrigue, lavender, licorice, kirsch and black currants.
