Louis Bouillot Perle d'Aurore Brut Rosé Crémant de Bourgogne

This latest shipment of the Bouillot Brut Rosé shows a much fresher and livelier profile than the previous lot, offering a solid mouthful of bright, tart berry fruit and sufficient yeasty-autolysis character to boost the complexity. A much more solid edition with very good length, and a nice value, too; if you were disappointed previously as I was, give this another chance. Unfortunately, there's no lot number to verify which bottling you're getting, however, a shortcoming of many non-vintage sparkling wines. Score - 88. (John Szabo, M.S., winealign.com, Feb. 5, 2014)
