The 2008 La Regola is mostly Cabernet Franc, with a dollop of Merlot and Petit Verdot. The 2008 is endowed with great balance and focus. Dark red cherries, menthol, licorice and spices are all supported by refined tannins. Hints of mocha and espresso develop in the glass, adding further complexity.
