Terre del Marchesato Marchesale Syrah 2009

This estate's flagship wine, the 2009 Syrah Marchesale opens to deep, dark concentration and bold aromas of dark fruit, prune, smoked bacon, bresaola and black pepper. The bouquet is loaded tight with enormous complexity and intensity. The finish is smooth and long, with a degree of fruity brightness that is really quite remarkable.
