Looking at the reds, the 2011 Coteaux d'Aix Provence is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with a splash of Grenache and Syrah, that was aged almost all on concrete tank (a small portion in barrel). Giving up smoky, lead pencil, mint and blackcurrant and raspberry-styled fruit, with rock-solid Cabernet character, this medium to full-bodied, lavishly textured effort has solid impressive balance, good overall purity and ample length on the finish.
