Kanta Riesling 2012

Echunga Vineyard. Intense lime fruit and a touch of linden/lime leaf. Just a hint of development. Dry but with a light honeyed note on the palate. Gentle and fresh at the same time. Beautifully subtle, the dry texture finely balanced with the sweet citrus of the fruit. Subtle but very long and refined. Easy to underestimate but the finesse and quality are there in a very understated way. Drink 2014-2020. Score - 17 out of 20 (Superior). (Julia Harding, MW, jancisrobinson.com, May 8, 2015)
