Gerard Bertrand Grand Terroir Les Aspres Syrah/Mourvèdre/Grenache 2011

This is an instantly attractive and seductive wine, with ripe aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry and raspberry upfront. The fruity core is complemented by layers of garrigue, violet and soft mocha. It's lush and rich without being overdone, with a sultry toasted-oak accent that remains through the solid finish.
