Deep garnet-purple in color and scented of cassis, crushed blackberries and star anise with hints of sauteed herbs and black earth, the 2012 Shiraz is a medium-bodied wine with plenty of earth and spice-laced black fruits supported by medium levels of grainy tannins and lively acid.
