The 2010 Charmes-Chambertin (from a parcel in Mazoyeres) bursts from the glass with freshly cut flowers, spices, mint and licorice. The aromas and flavors here are beautifully pointed and nuanced. The 2010 boasts striking inner perfume all the way through to the enveloping seductive finish. Frederic Magnien reports 80% of this parcel ripened with shot berries.
