Opawa Pinot Gris 2014

Pretty floral aromas set the scene here, giving way to peachy fruit on the palate. There's substantial texture and a slightly oily feel on the tongue, impressive crispness and freshness, and good length. A very attractive Pinot Gris that doesn't leap easily into any traditional style, this will make a fine sipper or enliven dishes featuring fish or pork. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014)
