De Bortoli Gulf Station Shiraz/Viognier 2010

Bright red-purple; a small amount of viognier is included, the grapes open-fermented and plunged, then matured for 10 months in new and used French oak. The complex yet eminently approachable wine has an aromatic bouquet of the red and black fruits that drive the fresh, medium-bodied palate, oak and tannins both making a positive contribution.
